Most tourists in the Delmarva drive through the center of the peninsula on the way to the shore. That is a shame because Delmarva is full of beautiful towns and villages. This area was settled from the late 1600s and is full of historic and charming little towns. But few people have time or the inclination to explore the entire peninsula.
This page is designed to break the peninsula up into smaller, manageable bits. On this page I will rate each town and village and highlight the best of them, so you can focus your limited time and money on the very best the Delmarva has to offer.
On this page I will accumulate all of my ratings and reviews geographically, so if you are in Berlin, you will know where to stay, eat, and shop. I’ll provide links to all the venues and a calendar of events for each town and village. In my view, this is the most useful section of this website, because you will have, at your fingertips, all the places I would recommend, and those I would not.
My hope is that this blog will provide you the resources to make your stay on the Delmarva more enjoyable.
An “R” in the first column indicates I have written a review about the town.
